Everyone loved riding in the golf cart. Taylor was a pretty good chauffeur.

The girls also enjoyed the hot tub. (The water wasn't too much warmer than the pool)

Notice the beautiful blue sky. Eat your hearts out, northerners.

Just before we left for the airport. They were a little excited.

We had just unloaded their things curbside at the Spirit door.

We have only been home for a short time from taking the kids to the airport. We came into a very quiet house, miss them already. I miss all the little giggles, squabbles and everything in between. I especially miss hearing, "grandma"????

We sure enjoyed their visit, wish they could drop in on us a little more often. The weather could have been a little warmer but we made due with what we had. The girls enjoyed the pool and hot tub, but got quite chilly on the way back to the house. I think it was only about 52 degrees when we dropped them off at the airport.

Now we have a day and half to get ready for the next visitors; Jason, Lyndsey and Jayley. Looking forward to their visit.

Isn't this a happy bunch?? We all had a great time.

I love this picture of a Sand Hill Crane. We have them all over in our park.

It was fun just watching him get out of his pool so he could eat his dinner.

Our National bird, symbol of freedom.

We certainly have been enjoying our company. The little girls have been so good and easy going. Only a couple occasions where Ally has gotten overly tired was there any major crying. The pool has been a huge hit, especially with Taylor.

Yesterday, Brendon, went to the Daytona Beach area to visit a friend, so the rest of us went to the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park and had a really enjoyable day. After a cloudy start the weather turned out to be very nice. I think everyone had a good time. We promised the girls ice cream on the way home so stopped at a McDonald's with a playland, trying to wear them out some. The only problem....no ice cream! They played for a while then we headed for Zephyrhills and stopped at a Sonic for their promised goodies. Just the topping of a beautiful day.

Sure will miss them when they leave.

Still trying

We will give it another try, after my wonderful daughter came to my aid. Her family arrived Thursday am and we have pretty much been on the go since. The girls have been so good...sure have missed them. They love the pool and the golf cart. Today they went to St Petersburg, by themselves and we did our usual, Walmart and Beall's. Yesterday we went to Apollo Beach to see the manatee. They come in to the power plant's water area because of the warm water, otherwise because of the cold weather we have been having they would not survive. It was such fun watching them. Afterwards, we returned home and went swimming at the pool. That was my first time since we have been down here. I guess I just needed a little prodding by the girls. Had a great time.

Our plants and bushes are no longer the pretty green they once were. They are now dead looking, but have been told they will return. Can't cut them back until the chance of frost is gone.

Standing tall.

Isn't it cute?
